Karnataka SSLC Results 2018: The KSEEB (Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board) will declare Karnaka SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) Class 10th exam 2018 today on May 7 at 12.00pm. A meeting is scheduled to be held on Friday to decide the exact date and time of the results.

The students will see their results on the official results website karresults.nic.in and kseeb.kar.nic.in. The examination was held March 23 to April 6.

This year 8.5 lakh students registered for the exam which includes 70,253 repeat candidates and 23,199 private candidates. The exam was held 2,817 examination centres. This year total 51 candidates were debarred from examinations for indulging in malpractices. Total 2.73% of students were not appeared in the examination.

Karnataka Education Minister said that:

“We are delighted to announce that the exams were conducted smoothly across 2,817 examination centres in the state. Starting next year, a separate examination board will conduct the SSLC and second PU exams,”

How to check out result

  1. Go to the official websites kseeb.kar.nic.in or karresults.nic.in.
  2. Click on the notification on the home page for the Kerala SSLC results 2018.
  3. Then enter your Roll Number as the instructions.
  4. Submit the information.
  5. Download the result and take a print.

According to the reports

“Since the model code of conduct was put in force on 27 March in poll-bound Karnataka, the results will not be released by the Education Minister, instead, the results will be released by the education board officials,”

Students can also check Karnataka 10th Board result via SMS. To do so, they have to type KAR10<space>ROLLCODE + ROLLNO and send it to 56263.

In 2017 SSLC result was announced on May 12. Last year, the overall passing percentage was 92.03% Boy’s passing percentage was 91.32% and girls passing percentage was 90.42%. The number of students who appeared in the examination was 4,50,433 and the examination was held between March 30 to April 12.
